Petrini was the son of the Harpist to Frederick the Great, the teacher of Hinner (Marie Antoinette's Harp teacher) and dedicated many of his compositions to the Princesse de Lamballe, the Queen's best friend.Harpists should consult the notes at the back of this volume, as the pedalling has been worked out so that the piece can be performed on a single action Harp.
